Our club is a great place to practice your presentation skills. It is a safe environment to learn and grow as a speaker, with constructive feedback, tools to guide you, and senior members to inspire you. When you are ready to soar, there are abounded opportunities to participate in contests and speak in other clubs.
Members have extensive opportunities to develop and hone their leadership skills in a nurturing environment, that provide guidance in planning, feedback after executions, and always supporting advice. Weather you want to get comfortable running a meeting, take charge of running the club, or become an effective mentor, this is a great place to develop these essential life skills.
There are a lot of opportunities to explore when you join a Toastmasters club, to help navigate all the possibilities every member is assigned a mentor. As your goals change so can your mentors, you can tap into knowledge and experience that best suits your current goals, or become a mentor yourself.
Why Bay Street Breakfast Club
Bay Street Breakfast was chartered in 1991. Blessed with a strong executive and membership from day 1, it has always been strong and vibrant. We have been a President’s Distinguished Club for over 17 consecutive years, that is indicative of a club that takes its desire to be the best seriously.
While many of the original 27 charter members have moved on, some remain. Many other club members have been with us for many years. The result is an eclectic mix of new and experienced members with diverse talents and views which keep us all young. Over the years, members of Bay Street Breakfast have represented the Club in contests at the Area, Division, District and Regional levels of Toastmasters and Club members have put on countless workshops for other Toastmasters as well as for people in the community. Our members today continue the Club’s historical commitment to excellence.
Give us a shout to find out more about how you can start becoming a more confidant communicator and leader today.
